Time Flies

I have been so busy this past week that as whole week passed by without finding time to post. A lot of my busy-ness this past week has been with the design side of my business and with my own marketing. So I'll just give you a quick little update about the new things I've got going on.

Monday I attended the online Joy Summit which was hosted by Sarah Petty's Joy Cafe. It was amazing. I only wish I had internet at home so that I could have listened to more of the speakers. But the four or five I did have time to listen to at the library were so beneficial. I gained all kinds of insights and I hope to integrate them into the way I run my business. In fact I actually started one of them today and I can't wait to see what kind of response I get from it.

Tuesday I had an eye doctor appointment and tons of errands to run in Decatur so I was busy all day. I stopped by my printer to pick up a couple things and I emailed a few clients new designs. It doesn't sound like that much, but the errand running really kept me busy ALL day. Oh - I forgot - I needed to get our wedding rings checked too. Ryan and I got our wedding rings at Fred Meyers here in Decatur. Unfortunately the store here closed and our diamonds are insured as long as we get them checked every six months. So I was trying to find a jeweler in town that would check them. Zales was the only place at the mall that would do it. So if you bought jewelry at Fred Meyers - Zales is the place to go for your six month check-ins.

Wednesday I had 10 o'clock meeting with my friends over at Hendricks & Carr Marketing and Consulting. We are looking into church directories and what it's going to cost to do it. If we could make a little money off it by providing small to medium size churches with directories. We've got to do a bit of research yet, but we'll see what happens.

Today I'm back at working on my marketing materials. The new website is coming right along. I'm really excited about it actually. I just got some more code that I needed to embed into the site for a couple things. I feel like with all the new marketing materials, the new look for the website and the new things I'm implementing that I'm really stepping up to the next level.

So I will leave you with some pics of the new website where it stands now, some of my new marketing pieces I just printed yesterday, and a couple cute pics Ryan took of me.

This will be the first page you see when you type in www.greentreemediaonline.com. Then you just pick "Photography" or "Design"

This is my About Page. I'm thinking about adding another section to this but I haven't fully decided yet.

This is the gallery page. I'm not quite sold on this yet. I still want to add my "Commercial" photography gallery, but I don't know how to add it without throwing everything off. If you have ideas - feel free to let me know.

My new branded folded greeting cards.

This is something I'm now sending to my clients after a photo session.

I love how green the grass is in this picture and how awesome my eyes look! (They are my favorite feature after all.) I also love that my wedding ring is in the shot. It just feels like a very "me" sort of picture.

This was a more straight on shot Ryan took. This is the first time I've had perfectly straight hair in a really long time. I typically can't get my hair this straight but a dear friend gave me her old straightener (Thank you Meagan) and I've been enjoying the straight hair life off and on ever since.
